Morbius Final Trailer

Sony have released the final trailer for soon to be in cinemas, Morbius.

While it doesn't contain any revelations or major surprises, it does give us our first glimpse of Matt Smith as the... let's call him badder-than-Morbius guy.

Bubble Trailer

Last week we looked at Netflix's trailer for Cliff Beasts 6 - a fictional film inside their fictional comedy film The Bubble which arrives in April.

We had thought they were just being clever but later learned that a few days before had released a trailer for an anime film, Bubble which also arrives in April.

The Last Bus Trailer

Some of the jokes in Netflix's trailer for upcoming kids sci-fi series The Last Bus might be a bit old and ones we adults have heard many times before.

The basic premise of well intentioned technology having unintended and dire consequences which endanger humanity also isn't new, but the lone survivors being half a dozen children who drive off in a bus together is unfamiliar territory.

A Californian company have created a device called the Cana One which is functionally though not mechanically equivalent to a drinks replicator.

Dolmen Release Date

Right now everyone is talking about fantasy roleplaying Souls-like Elden Ring, eg. nearing a million concurrent Steam users and being trash talked by other developers for breaking the mould and setting new standards.

It has to be tough for other developers. Games typically take five plus years to develop and releasing into a market with changed expectations and tastes is not ideal.

It's a bunch of young sweaty people dancing and apparently sci-fi.

Haven Couples Update

Roleplaying / survival video gave Haven stands out from a very large crowd on one key feature - you don't play one character. You play as two. A couple.

A new update titled Couples doesn't explode the playing field and have you playing multiple couples. Rather players now have a choice of couples and those choices include same-sex pairings.

It is a fascinating development in gaming technology but during their various interviews they've also touched on other topics of interest.

Australia v RimWorld

A few days ago Kotaku reported that the Australian Classification Board had done that thing again which they're absolutely bloody notorious for. Inexplicably banning some game.

This time an indie PC sci-fi construction and simulation game called Rimworld which they had previously approved and which had been available and played here for four years in full release. Another five before that in early access.
