Cinemacon Goodies

Back in March it was rumoured that the Avatar 2 trailer would premiere with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in cinemas.

We felt that the specifics of the rumour might be sinister but also that it was a reasonable prediction.

Night Sky Trailer

This trailer made us smile. The idea of a couple (J.K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek) finding a chamber buried in their yard which contains a portal to another planet is unqestionably sci-fi but not intrinsically remarkable.

Then they keep the secret just between them. Regularly visiting to enjoy the scenery from the room on the other end.

TTT's Wife Trailer

HBO have released the trailer for their upcoming series The Time Traveler's Wife.

There's considerably more action (i.e. violence) in the trailer than we would have guessed based on earlier impressions but that surrounds the time traveler (Theo James).

Lightyear Trailer 2

Pixar have released a second trailer for their upcoming animated film, Lightyear.

It's laugh out loud good. We did several times but won't spoil any of the gags. Only recommend that you watch.

Doctor Strange Teasers

With Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness due to hit cinemas in a few weeks, Marvel are doling teasers on a regular basis.

Two have dropped this week titled Ready and Experience.

New Old New Star Wars Game

Lucasfilm have struck a deal with developers Skydance to make a new Star Wars game.

Except it's more a revival of an earlier game which had been in development and which actually began life as a Jamaican pirate game.

Spiderhead First Look

If you can't get enough of Chris Hemsworth, we wouldn't blame you, and this week the fickle gods of entertainment have been generous in first giving us a teaser for the next Thor film and also a first look at Netflix's Spiderhead.

By look unfortunately we don't mean footage but Entertainment Weekly has published some photos and an interview with the director and some of the cast.

Tales From the Borderlands

In addition to the surprise and curiously swift release of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands first DLC, this week at PAX East, Gearbox Software announced that they will this year release a new Tales From the Borderlands interactive narrative.

Developed in house. The previous entry was developed by the original Telltale Games under license from Gearbox.
