Demimonde Dusted

The Hollywood Reporter recently reported that unofficially, J.J. Abrams' in development sci-fi series Demimonde was on the cusp of being cancelled by newly merged Warner Bros. Discovery over its $200 million plus (US) budget.

Demimonde has now officially been dumped and is being shopped around to other platforms.

Moonhaven Trailer

AMC have released a full trailer for their upcoming Moonhaven series and as with the earlier teaser, it's not what we were expecting.

Said teaser painted a picture of creepy moon cultists masquerading as a utopian community but this trailer portrays them more as the former with elements of the latter.

Deliver Us Mars

A gameplay trailer and release date of September 27 have been published for sci-fi adventure game Deliver Us Mars, sequel to Deliver Us The Moon.

It looks grand and very exciting.

Black Adam Trailer

DC have released the trailer for upcoming film Black Adam which had previously been shared exclusively with CinemaCon attendees in April.

Another Disney+ Surprise

Marvel recently surprised everyone with the announcement that freshly released in cinemas Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness would begin streaming on Disney+ after just a month and a half on the big screen.

Disney have also announced that in order to circumvent French law which requires a 17 month delay between cinematic and streaming release, Strange World will not have a cinematic release in France.

Geeked Week Films

Netflix conducted their second day of livestreaming for their annual Geeked Week event celebrating upcoming genre content.

Day Two was dedicated to films and while we don't have enough time to watch the full one and a half hour stream, we have looked at all of the new teasers and trailers.

What We Do in the Shadows is just barely sci-fi by our standards, but a fantastic show nonetheless and we're always delighted to report when great content gets a new lease on life.

FX (aka Fox) have renewed the vampire comedy for a fifth and sixth season ahead of its season four premiere.

Korean online game developer NCSoft have released a trailer for Project M which they describe as an interactive movie.

Visually it looks gorgeous and also showcases how players make decisions so it may warrant the interactive movie moniker.

This time two clips titled I'm Sox and Operation Surprise Party.

Prey Trailer

Hulu have released a full trailer for their upcoming Predator prequel Prey and it's a bit odd.

We already knew that the featured a female lead and that her story included challenging gender norms.
