Black Panther Teaser

Now set to conclude the Marvel Cinematic Universe's shortened phase four, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has its first teaser.

It looks excellent.

Marvel Nip n Tuck

To say that a bit of news about the Marvel Cinematic Universe came out of this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con would be so far beyond an understatement that it would be in another universe.

Starting with that. MCU phase four has been drastically shortened and phases four to six are now officially designated The Multiverse Saga.

Paramount have released a nostalgia-pumping teaser for the third and final season of Picard.

At the San Diego Comic-Con, stars Patrick Stewart and Gates McFadden gave a quick interview to IGN's Narz and Scott Collura.

The Sandman

One of the more unusual comic book adaptations coming our way is DC's The Sandman on Netflix and its trailer is spectacular.

Visually. Storywise it sounds promising in a broad sense but that element is difficult to judge from promos.

Black Adam Sneak Peek

Another one coming out of the San Diego Comic-Con is a Black Adam sneak peek.

Judging by this and earlier trailers the film looks good without breaking out of the superhero mould, apart from the titular character having a shady past.

Kirk on Kirk

After saying "Fuck Star Wars. But Not Mark Hamill," and that Gene Roddenberry would be "turning in his grave" at some of the new Star Trek series, William Shatner had kinder words for Paul Wesley who now plays Kirk in Strange New Worlds.

He's young and handsome and thin and rich.

Following close on the heels of an explosive Rolling Stone article detailing claims of social media fakery and other nefarious deeds by director Zack Snyder, at the San Diego Comic-Con DC Publisher and CEO Jim Lee revealed that there are no plans for further work on his material.

Remember when Facebook, in the midst of a publicity crisis, rebranded itself as Meta to stake their claim on the emerging metaverse?

They might not have been there first. MetaX LLC who operated under the name Meta in the VR space is now suing Meta Platforms (aka Facebook).
