Doctor Dumb Funny Record

The Mirror claims that villainous spinoffs are in the works for Doctor Who courtesy of their Disney deal.

Fans can expect to see Sontarans, Weeping Angels and Sea Devils in separate series showing what they get up to when the Doctor isn’t there to stop them, along with Daleks and Cybermen.

CD Projekt Red have put together a short video with the opening music - Franz Ferdinand's This Fffire - from the Netflix anime adaptation Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Fans might enjoy it.

Go Go Marvel Suns

Firaxis have released both a combat overview trailer and a "Let's Go!" special message for their upcoming tactical roleplaying game Marvel's Midnight Suns.

From people who've been able to play it - which isn't us - there's a lot of love for the gameplay but not the story.

Violet McVinne, A former cinematic designer for Bioware, has tweeted video footage of a private joke type additional ending to action roleplaying game Mass Effect 3.

It's a little bit romantic. Player character Sheppard makes out with bad guy the Illusive Man.

Avatar Teases

No surprise here at all. The "final" trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water released a few days ago wasn't their final promo.

There's a new teaser and also a declaration of this being Australian Avatar Week.

This is Darktide

If you're at all curious about the soon to release first person shooter co-op Warhammer 40K: Darktide, its developers have produced a 7 minute video which summarises it neatly.

The buzz around this game is overwhelmingly positive.

Earlier this year, fantasy action roleplaying game Elden Ring swung big in the promotion department, with several television commercials starring well known actors and sports people.

Sci-fi didn't fare too well in this year's Golden Joystick Awards with only four notable wins.

Unsurprisingly, fantasy action roleplaying game Elden Ring dominated with four wins and another for its developer FromSoftware.

Life on Regis III

At a time when many eyes would be on a cutting edge, potentially even redefining the genre horror game like The Callisto Protocol, it's charming to see some old school scare.

Which comes courtesy of Starward Industries in the faux documentary Life on Regis III to promote their upcoming retro futuristic adventure game The Invincible.

In a sure sign of confidence, developers of The Callisto Protocol have listed a Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam which includes, among other things, a season pass and "story DLC" (downloadable content).

Gamers would be familiar with developers dodging the question of potential of DLC before a game's launch.
