Lucasfilm have released a timeline teaser for Star Wars prequel series Andor.

That timeline isn't very confusing. Andor (series) then Rogue One (film) then Episode IV - A New Hope (film).

Sure, the series is a prequel prequel but does that require a dedicated trailer?

We see this promotion as an attempt to relate Andor to pre Disney content and the only Disney Star Wars film not widely hated by fans.

Both the series and this specific promotion are among the smarter choices made in relation to current era Star Wars.

Andor's teasers and trailers have all looked excellent.

But the awful films haven't been and can't be unmade and some upcoming content like The Acolyte prequel series appears to be more trashing the franchise.

Instead of admitting to the poor quality and spirit of those films, innocent fans also continue to be trashed as racists.

Most fans and also casual viewers aren't masochists.

Andor could very well be the best of new era Star Wars and still have no hope of winning over or even being seen by many of its disenfranchised fans.

Andor's first three episodes premiere on Disney+ on September 21.
