Quick note. We've had time to check out Netflx's new series The Imperfects, whose trailer we noted looked good.

Netflix's PR department sure know how to make a good trailer. Even from a dead on arrival dud.

Interesting concept but painfully recycled dialog and very uneven performances.

Opted not to force ourselves to sit through the entire first episode.

This series didn't appear on Netflix's beginning of year schedule and was thrown out into the world with a trailer and release date with barely more than week's lead time.

Our guess is that caught between HBO's House of the Dragon and Amazon's The Rings of Power, Netflix designated September a write off and cast The Imperfects out into the cold.

It presently has zero critic reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

Anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners which releases on Netflix in just a few days is one we'd already written off based on its promos.

Though we will look over reviews to see how it fares.

The Imperfects is available now on Netflix.
