Recently the Boba Fett official account tweeted:

Have you spotted the incredible #BookofBobaFett billboard in Times Square?

Incredible? How often do we hear claims like that?

In this case we have to concede that the enormous 3D ad overlooking Times Square is impressive.

Though we wonder if it might have been more impactful as a Star Wars style holo-image, i.e. blue and semi-transparent.

Likely the intent of a more realistic 3D image is to showcase the full capabilities of this new technology but the ad itself might resonate more strongly with Star Wars fans if it were more iconically Star Wars.

It's presently unknown if there'll be a second season of Boba Fett and its viewer numbers are below that of Marvel series which have been cancelled.

But this ad suggests that Disney haven't made the cancellation decision yet and might be trying to boost its popularity.

The Book of Boba Fett's first and possibly only season is available exclusively on Disney+.
