Borderland Trailer
Posted By:

Fresh from Netflix we have a trailer for season 2 of trapped in a game series Alice in Borderland.

The accompanying synopsis teases that its characters continue to attempt to unravel the mystery of their entrapment.

Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) try to unravel the mysteries of Borderland to return to the real world. In a place they believe holds the key to uncovering these mysteries, they meet allies, enemies, and the mastermind behind all of the games. Arisu and the others pit themselves against games of a scale and difficulty that exceed the first season. The remaining games are only the Jack, Queen, and King cards, but will they be able to collect them all and return to the real world? The hugely popular series that astounded the world returns with even more thrills and excitement!

Try, not succeed.

Haven't watched this one so can't comment authoritatively but it sounds like this is something alone the lines of The Hunger Games meets The Matrix.

Fascinating to see this in a week when Elon Musk announced that he expects Neuralink, a brain computer interface, could begin human trials within six months.

Though it won't be the first.

Competitor Synchron beat them to the finish line this July with a less medically invasive procedure.

With tech and gaming companies clamouring to create immersive gaming worlds, a.k.a. the metaverse, scenarios like in this series might not qualify as science fiction for much longer.

Alice in Borderland season 2 begins streaming on December 22 on Netflix.
