With anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners debuting on Netflix this month, many would expect some kind of promotional tie-in with the action roleplaying video game Cyberpunk 2077.

Developers CD Projekt Red have teased as much with a short video advising fans to tune into their next Night City Wire on September 6 at 5 p.m. CEST (September 7 at 1 a.m. AEST).

We've not loved anything we've seen about Edgerunners so far except its art style so will be skipping, but are keen to hear of developments of the brilliant game.

Having been plagued by major problems with their console editions, CD Projekt Red have understandably had to spend several years attending to those.

Though much delayed compared to most games it is nice to hear any news of post release development.

So we'll be tuning in for that one.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners releases on Netflix on September 13.
