Though not streaming internationally on new home Disney+ until November, the BBC have released the first teaser for the 2023 Doctor Who Specials and it's very heavy on Ds.

Doctor David (Tennant) tells us, "If destiny exists then it is heading for Donna Noble."

Thirteenth Doctor / Chibnall era production quality and special effects were good but perhaps in this trailer we're seeing some indication of bigger budgets courtesy of the Disney deal.

What about the other d? The big one?

If she ever remembers me she will die.

We see a brief clip of Donna (Catherine Tate) seeing him and calling him "skinny man".

Without dying.

We also see Neil Patrick Harris in his still unnamed villainous role and 15th Doctor Ncuti Gatwa ends with:

Someone tell me what the hell is goin' on here.

Perhaps the deadly danger in Donna remembering isn't direct and immediate but in the attention she might attract from dark forces.

Having been the DoctorDonna might make her an exploitable resource for the deviously minded and remembering might make her more noticable to them.

But maybe they came for her anyway and that's why the Doctor has regenerated in his 10th form.

That's the best guess we can make based on a one minute teaser.

Eleven months is a long wait to learn the truth but doubtless there'll many more teasers in the interim.

The 60th Anniversary Doctor Who Specials are scheduled to stream in November on Disney+ to coincide with the anniversary on the 23rd.

Though curiously this teaser only tells us "Coming 2023".
