Doctor Who has had another busy PR day in the lead up to season 13's imminent return.

We'll start with the Ewookiees.

Weeping Angel and Sontaran we recognise but not the other two.

Ewok head, Wookiee body. Ewookiee. Other tweeters less kindly saw a Chewbacca gone to fat.

We're not sure of their source for this, but many sites have labelled it a Karvanista. If right he may be friend rather than foe:

Anyway, he apparently plays a recurring role in Doctor Who Series 13 as Dan's workmate Karvanista, which sounds like a Slavic surname.

BBC also released another new promotional poster.

And a full length trailer for season 13. It looks very blockbuster.

Australian release date will be November 1. We can't offer an online source, but ABC are now advertising it in TV commercials.
