Netflix have released a teaser for upcoming South Korean sci-fi comedy series, Glitch.

There's more to it than just the missing boyfriend mystery teased with the poster.

We now have context for the title.

Electronic devices glitch in locations where people, like the main character's boyfriend, disappear.

Perhaps we see one layer of the title's comedy, with the - we want to say baseball helmet - wearing alien in the convenience store.

And other locations.

We don't mind comedy with our sci-fi and Netflix have brought us several excellent South Korean sci-fi drama series.

So we're looking forward to this one.

This trailer hasn't been dubbed into English and we couldn't find any confirmation that the series will be, but we have seen other dubbed Netflix titles release non-English trailers first, eg. The Silent Sea, so we're guessing that Glitch will be.

There's also "My boyfriend vanished from Earth" plastered across the screen in English. Not as a subtitle.

Suggesting they've already begun translating this for English-speaking audiences.

Glitch releases on Netflix on October 7.
