With the world coming fresh out of a major pandemic during which many people worked from home for the first time and in jobs where that would normally not be an option, Cisco is launching new holo-meeting technology.

It's no holodeck but looks like an interesting step in that direction.

They claim:

Webex Hologram is the industry’s only real-time meeting solution that takes advantage of augmented reality headsets to combine feature rich Webex meeting functionality with immersive 3D holograms.

Their video does look moderately impressive and more sophisticated than anything else which came up in a quick google search.
