In July last year, AMC hailed Moonhaven as their most watched AMC+ exclusive series and their second most watched new series. Also renewing it for a second season.

Now they've cancelled it, amid a slew of cost cutting measures.

Still haven't seen this one.

AMC's The Walking Dead, available here on Binge, is amazing.

We know they can make great shows and several like Moonhaven have caught our eye.

But we struggle to keep up with all of the sci-fi on other services we subscribe to, even excluding three of the most prolific franchises: Star Trek, Star Wars and Marvel.

Marvel movies we watch but after critics raved about definitely not rave-worthy Wandavision, we wrote the other series off.

Secret Invasion will be the first we expect to watch in full.

So it's very easy to look at smaller channels like AMC+ and pass.

Maybe there just wasn't enough room for AMC in the streaming providers race.

Still, this one must sting for those who enjoyed it.

Series renewals for good shows always feel like a victory.

Moonhaven's first and only season is available now on AMC+.
