Sky have renewed time-looping spy drama The Lazarus Project for a second season.
Which from a certain angle is ironic.
The show's premise is that a clandestine spy agency has the ability to rewind time to undo and then prevent major catastrophes.
Everyone gets to go again - and sometimes again and again and again - only when the first run bombs.
Sometimes it's literally bombs.
Being renewed for a second season would suggest the show isn't a catastrophe.
And it isn't.
It's more spy drama with a light sci-fi twist than raging sci-fi.
There's just the time-looping.
But it's a decent spy drama and the time-looping adds some fascinating curls.
Its first season includes a few difficult to swallow story elements but is otherwise entertaining.
The Lazarus Project is streaming now on Stan.
