More Weigh In On Warner
Posted By:

Three more actors have weighed in on the Ruby Rose v Warner Bros dispute, though one of those quickly withdrew and little trace of their contribution remains.

Camrus Johnson

Camrus Johnson who plays Luke Fox in Batwoman has tweeted this:

Batfam ya know I couldn’t go the whole day without saying something! I love y’all, don’t think I haven’t seen all the love today. But yea fam, she was fired. And it is VERY hard to be fired when you’re the lead. Imagine what u have to do for that 2 happen

Since it was claimed she “walked away” last year I’m sure some of you may be pretty confused or upset, and even moreso that a lot of lies were spread today. Just know we have a lot of great souls working on this show and none of this changes that. From the top to the bottom.

Love y’all, and West Coast fam enjoy the new episode of Batwoman starring

Like Dougray Scott who has also refuted her claims, Camrus was the subject of accusations by Rose, though less stinging than those directed at others:

I was late one time because I was in hospital. Whoever does these stupid leaks, I'm finding out who, but it's Camrus [Johnson], who, after I left the hospital, said, 'Yeah, well maybe if people were not late, we would make our days.' A kid. An egomaniac kid who worked one day a week had the audacity.

Bridget Regan

Bridget Regan plays Poison Ivy in season 3 of Batwoman. Notably she joined the cast after Ruby left and her tweet (reported via EW) pertains only to her perception of current working conditions:

I'd just like to say I LOVE working @CWBatwoman. I feel very safe on set and everyone in front and behind the camera are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and supportive.

She then swiftly deactivated her twitter account. A fan account records a deactivation notice:

Bridget just deactivated her Twitter account. [1:52 AM, October 22, 2021]

None of the major automatic or manual archive sites have this tweet.

We have no reason to distrust EW but can't authenticate it.

Another fan account has an interesting tweet soon after the deactivation which could be in reference to this:

Well, that was a catch up.

I hope B’s able to take some time to care for her mental health by her deactivating and that the time can be used to understand what people are saying and at some point she’ll apologize. It wasn’t the right time and came across as invalidating. [2:14 AM, October 22, 2021]

Essentially accusing Bridget of being crazy. Attacking someone's mental health is sharp.

So her tweet probably elicited some sharp criticism and she shut it down.

Ray Fisher

Ray didn't work on Batwoman but had previously worked for and publicly commented on problems with Warner Bros. He tweeted this:

Specific people were named, and WB’s defense is to generalize Ruby Rose’s account by making it seem like they’re taking wild swings at everyone in every department? Now I’m no expert on hit pieces, but I know a WB whistleblower special when I read it.

The Wrap article includes the full text of Warner Bros' official response to Ray's complaint. It is interesting.

Also, Ray's complaint was about Joss Whedon after he took over as director for Justice League.

Since then Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase in Buffy and Angel) went public with similar complaints. Amber Benson (Tara in Buffy) and Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn in Buffy) also indicated that they'd experienced problems with him.
