Amazon have released their trailer for upcoming time-traveling tale Paper Girls.

Feeling no sense of nostalgia for the 1980s this isn't a series aimed at us and unsurprisingly none of its promos have connected.

Though if it follows the story of the comics it's based on then it might explore some uncommon territory for time travel fiction.

We're also curious to see if this series can capitalise on the popularity of Stranger Things, which Netflix reports just passed the one billion hours watched mark.

Paper Girls premieres on July 29 on Prime Video.
