Denis Villeneuve has been entrusted with bringing another sci-fi classic to the big screen, Arthur C. Clarke's Rendezvous With Rama.

Providing finance are Alcon Entertainment who paired with Denis on Bladerunner 2049 and who also brought us The Expanse.

Avoiding spoilers, Wikipedia says:

Set in the 2130s, the story involves a 50-by-20-kilometre (31 by 12 mi) cylindrical alien starship that enters the Solar System. The story is told from the point of view of a group of human explorers who intercept the ship in an attempt to unlock its mysteries.

With Dune II still to be filmed this one is probably a long way off.
