We just described not sci-fi game first person shooter Far Cry 6 announcing a sci-fi DLC as slightly unusual, but another game has done exactly the same thing.

Two Point Campus is a university simulation game which launched in August and its first DLC will be Space Academy.

Which looks like what you'd expect from the title.

The trailer is comedic in tone with a strong Star Trek connection but described on their website are classes which include Space Knight School.

No, they're not wielding lightsabers, which might have had caused Disney lawyers to fire up to lightspeed.

Though Star Wars has something similar they call an electrostaff which we see in Clone Wars wielded by uber droids.

Two Point Campus: Space Academy is coming to PC (Steam), Xbox and PlayStation on 6th December 2022 and Nintendo Switch on 12th.
