Space.com have published a quite lengthy interview with Stargate star Amanda Tapping, showrunner Brad Wright and Google AI Lead Laurence Moroney.

Following on from their second table read of an AI generated Stargate script.

Apparenently their second attempt at an AI generated script was much more coherent than the first.

They're not expecting AI to replace writers any time soon but this iteration wrote each of the characters more believably.

Any news here about a Stargate revival?

Amanda said she'd happily return to Stargate both in front of and behind the cameras and Brad reminded everyone of the script he wrote pre-pandemic.

No-one mentioned the fast approaching 25th anniversary of Stargate SG-1 - July 27 - which would be the perfect time to announce a new series or film, if there is one in the works.
