Screen Rant have published an article on a Game Informer interview with Halo Infinite creative director Joseph Staten.

It could be of interest to those curious about the upcoming game but also explains something which had puzzled us.

When Halo Infinite surprise early released their multiplayer and also a trailer for their new TV series coming to Paramount next year, we commented that the trailer was quite stingy even by teaser standards.

From behind it shows someone putting on a helmet.

Apparently it's an inside joke. Like Top Gear's Stig there is a character in the game whose face is never seen.

We're not sure that teasers are the best place to exercise an inside joke.

Though at this stage probably the majority of people seeing this trailer would be Halo fans and their wider audience marketing will be less obtuse.
