Releasing on January 28 on Netflix is their anime series, The Orbital Children.

Not sure what to make of this one from the trailer.

So there's an orbital hotel with some kids on it and.... a comet collision?

Aren't comets big fiery things?

Not overly stealthy or likely to take anyone by surprise.

Keep watching the trailer and we learn that the comet might be the reincarnation of an AI.

Certainly couldn't complain about this being unoriginal.

While the main characters are children, Netflix haven't labelled this as a kid's show.

The Orbital Children releases as a 6 episode series on January 28 on Netflix.

Curiously it's releasing in a different format in Japan - as a two part film, part one on January 28 and part two on February 11.
