We have our first look at season four of Westworld this morning courtesy of a teaser from HBO.

After three compelling and constantly surprising seasons they appear to have pulled yet another rabbit out of their hat with swarms of flies and something which looks like giant spider webs.

Do we think it's a Spider-Man crossover?

Not truly but it might be foolish to rule anything out with this series.

As a function of both the complexity of Westworld's story and the abundance of other sci-fi now on offer to us, we can't clearly recall where the second and third seasons took us so this is a must rewatch.

Season 4 of Westworld will premiere in the US on June 26 and we expect to see it here in Australia on Foxtel Now and Binge at around the same time.
