The federal goverment has issued a press release detailing that season 2 of sci-fi sinkhole drama, La Brea, will pump $118 million into the Australian economy when it is filmed in Victoria.

In terms of ratings it seems to have been a big hit in the US and was renewed for a second season before the first had finished airing.

Matrix IV Goes Digital

On January 24 Warner Bros issued a press release announcing that beginning early January 25 (i.e. yesterday), The Matrix Resurrections would be available digitally to rent or buy.

Just Watch list it as currently available in Australia to rent ($29.99) or buy ($34.99) from several vendors.

It wasn't just us who was impressed with Jeff Goldblum's strut down the runway at the recent Prada's Menswear 2022 Fall Winter Fashion Show.

Jeff turned heads and in an interview with Interview magazine (yes, that's real), he has revealed that after the show he was approached by one of the models who wanted to learn it.

Though it's actually content they showed last year, except this time with tutorial type info popups.

All of Us Are Dead Trailer

Netflix's All of Us Are Dead premieres on January 28th and they released the official trailer about a week ago.

The special effects look top-notch and it seems to have all of the typical ingredients for a zombie apocalypse.

Expired Trailer

Lionsgate have released a trailer for Expired, also known as Loveland, which releases in Australia on February 10.

It's an ozzie film, with an ozzie writer / director and cast, including Ryan Kwanten of True Blood and Hugo Weaving of The Matrix and Lord of the Rings, and was filmed in part in Queensland's Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Picard Season 2 Trailer

Paramount have released the official trailer for season 2 of Picard, just a few days after announcing its premiere date (March 3).

We would say that it looks like they're trying to revisit one of The Next Generation's high points - its eloquent and poignant time jumping finale - except for the presence of Guinan.
