Inside Out

In June last year during their Geeked Week event, Netflix dropped a surprise season 2 renewal for Inside Job during its mid-season break.

Which they've now reversed. Damn.

We enjoyed the second half as much as the first.

It didn't suck.

Netflix haven't released details about viewership or their decision but presumably it was lower than anticipated.

Are mid-season breaks a good idea? Especially on a platform whose signature is all at once?

Pandemics and other factors can leave no alternative but we reckon this might be something like Resident Alien, which wasn't cancelled but had its third season shortened following a weaker second half of second season following a break.

We hadn't forgotten about Inside Job and watched with it with delight, but the also excellent Resident Alien completely dropped of our radar during its break and we only found time to watch that second half very recently.

Inside Job's first and only season is streaming now on Netflix.
