Patty Says No

Following The Wrap's claims that Patty Jenkins stepped away from directing Wonder Woman 3 over her refusal to submit another treatment for it to DC execs, she has tweeted a definitive rejection.

This is simply not true. I never walked away. I was open to considering anything asked of me. It was my understanding that there was nothing I could do to move anything forward at this time.

Jumping the Gunn

The Hollywood Reporter claims that newly appointed DC studio heads James Gunn and Peter Safran are preparing to draw a line in the sand and end planned sequels to most recent DC films.

Including Wonder Woman, Superman and Aquaman, but not Robert Pattinson's Batman.

Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Woman 1984 is now available on Netflix and Binge.

It had previously been available as a rent or buy title on several digital services.

While not as good (critics 59%, audience 73%) as the earlier film (critics 93%, audience 84%), it's still moderately enjoyable.

As with Justice League, 1984 is hampered by DC's poor attempt to capitalise on 80s nostalgia.
