This isn't one of those remakes with only improved graphics. Telling the same story they've recrafted it for present day gamers.

Dead Island 2 Extended

An extended 14 minute gameplay trailer has been released for upcoming first person zombie slayer Dead Island 2.

While we have watched a few shorter trailers for this titles, we're not fans of gore-fests and are simply going to point to it and say enjoy it if this is your cup of tea.

Barotrauma 1.0

Having just remarked in relation to an unremarkable title we're commenting only because the present dearth of trailers, it's nice to see the flip side to that.

Barotrauma is a novel and incredibly successful (2.5 million copies sold) indie game we'd never heard of and probably wouldn't have noticed in a typical week. They've announced an early access exit this month.

Beneath Fear

IGN Fan Fest

The past two weeks have been uncommonly quiet on the entertainment trailer and news fronts. We had put that down to Marvel (Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania) and Harry Potter (Hogwarts Legacy) but there was a third factor in the mix.

Folk were probably also holding back content for the IGN Fan Fest. Mostly gaming but also a dab of television and film.

Too Much Star Wars

Star Wars being a somewhat biggish franchise, they often make multiple news ripples in any given week and this is just such a one.

There's new lots of new info about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - combat stances, lightsaber combat and puzzle rooms. - a clip for The Mandalorian season 3 and Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon Jinn) has shared his opinion that there are too many Star Wars spinoffs.
