While new DC studio heads James Gunn and Peter Safran haven't revealed their full plan, both James and Henry Cavill have confirmed that he won't reprise the role of Superman.

Following The Wrap'sclaims that Patty Jenkins stepped away from directing Wonder Woman 3 over her refusal to submit another treatment for it to DC execs, she has tweeted a definitive rejection.
This is simply not true. I never walked away. I was open to considering anything asked of me. It was my understanding that there was nothing I could do to move anything forward at this time.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that newly appointed DC studio heads James Gunn and Peter Safran are preparing to draw a line in the sand and end planned sequels to most recent DC films.
Including Wonder Woman, Superman and Aquaman, but not Robert Pattinson's Batman.
