Avatar Delayed

Ubisoft have delayed open world action adventure game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and are now aiming for a 2023-24 launch.

While such delays in gaming are common, just two months ago they announced it would launch in the final quarter of this year which would have coincided with the Avatar film.

Ubisoft have narrowed their intended launch window for Avatar open world action computer game, Frontiers of Pandora to the final quarter of this year.

With the film releasing in cinemas in December, their goal may to be launch prior to that to capitalise on it and also Christmas gift sales.

This week has seen a few unexpected NFT (non-fungible token) stories.

Solidaires Informatique, a French trade union, has condemned Ubisoft's NFT plans as "a useless, costly, ecologically mortifying technology."
