Syfy have released the first five minutes of upcoming space ship disaster survival series The Ark. Their trailer struck us as disappointingly B-grade with a possible hint of tween drama.
This first five minutes doesn't involve any substantial character interactions so we're still in the dark on that one.
This year is shaping up to be huge for futuristic dinosaur survival game Ark, with updates, a sequel and an animated TV adaptation.
But there's also the other Ark, which we last heard about at the beginning of last year when Syfy gave it the thumbs up and had since forgotten. Now there's a trailer, though not a great one in our estimation.
SyFy have ordered a new sci-fi series titled The Ark with executive producers Dean Devlin (Stargate, Independence Day, The Librarians, The Outpost) and Jonathan Glassner (Stargate SG-1, Falling Skies, The Outpost).
Wasting no time at all - that's nice - it goes into production in March.
