Animated post-apocalyptic series Mulligan premiered quietly on Netflix earlier this month.

The comedy is set after a devastating alien attack on Earth. The survivors band together to rebuild America and elect alien war hero Matt Mulligan as their new President.

Aside from the new President, whose chief ability is his grenade-throwing arm, the new American government consists of a beauty queen, a devious former senator and a street-smart teen who put on a dead general’s uniform and assumed the rank himself.

Other key characters include the richest man in the world Johnny Zhao (Ronny Chieng), who assumed the top spot after a rocket ferrying Jeff Bezos and his fellow billionaires off Earth was destroyed by the alien invaders.

Rounding out the core cast is Tina Fey as scientist Dr Farrah Braun and Daniel Radcliffe as the onlyremaining Brit on Earth, Jeremy Fitzhogg.

The series is delivered by the same team behind 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
