Thirteenth Doctor Who actor Jodie Whittaker has landed her first post Tardis role and it's in our backyard. Or on our beaches, rather.
She has temporarily relocated down under to film the six part series One Night (not sci-fi) set against the New South Wales coastline. Filming has already commenced in the Sydney and Illawarra region.
For much of their history, Radio Times were owned by the BBC and unsurprisingly tend never to speak ill of Doctor Who.
When discussing the recently revealed viewing numbers for Jodie Whittaker's final episode (spoilers ahead), again they don't speak ill of that or the Chibnall era, but do throw in a few extra numbers to show that the final episode only had half as many viewers (5.3 million) as his first (10.9 million).
During an online press Q&A, Chris Chibnall and Jodie Whittaker have made a few more parting remarks.
There are no major revelations, though Jodie's language appears to have changed slightly. Previously all statements about she and Chris had indicated a firm 3 year and out plan for them both.
Well not quite, but they've announced that their October 15 (UK) sofa guests will include Doctor Who's Jodie Whittaker and Dune's Timothee Chalamet (Paul Atreides).
Two leads from major sci-fi properties might be worth tuning in for. If you weren't going to anyway.
That'll be season 29, episode 4 and Nine's website says we'll be getting season 29 episode 1 on October 6. So maybe expect to see this episode here towards the end of October.
