Thirteenth Doctor Who actor Jodie Whittaker has landed her first post Tardis role and it's in our backyard. Or on our beaches, rather.

She has temporarily relocated down under to film the six part series One Night (not sci-fi) set against the New South Wales coastline. Filming has already commenced in the Sydney and Illawarra region.

Affording New South Whovians a rare opportunity to practice their Doctor spotting skills.

Though unlikely to best Wilfred Mott and his Silver Cloak cadre who tracked down tenth (and now fourteenth) Doctor David Tennant in a matter of hours, they can dare to try.

Prior to Doctor Who Jodie was best known for her role in the also beachy, Broadchurch.

All thirteen seasons of Doctor Who are streaming now on Binge and Stan.

Seasons five to ten are available on Prime, and six and seven on on ABC iView.

The fourteenth season arriving in November will be a Disney+ exclusive outside of the UK.
