No Man's Endurance

No Man's Sky have released a literally freighter sized update titled Endurance. Possibly a reference to the developer's endurance through a tumultuous launch and its aftermath.

It brings a major overhaul of building on freighters and their capabilities (eg. scanning planets from space), organic frigates, living ship upgrades, new spatial phenomena to explore and greater variation and size of asteroid fields.

NMS Sentinel Update

Hello Games have released their Sentinel Update for No Man's Sky accompanied as we'd expect by a trailer.

In addition to overhauling sentinels - who are the game's primary opponents - player weapons have been spruced up.

Almost certainly astutely timed to capitalise on Dune's release, Hello Games have launched Expedition 4: Emergence.

The theme is very wormy and the ultimate reward is a sandworm, titanic spawn egg.
