Destiny 2's trailer caused a stir for its inclusion of something which looks suspiciously like a lightsaber and in Netflix's new clip from The Adam Project, young Adam pulls a small tubular device from old Adam's bag and asks, "Is this a lightsaber?"

In an interview Patrick Stewart has not answered the question.
But he has revealed that on the evening of the Super Bowl during which the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessadvertisement ran, he received many communications from friends and also people he hardly knew, asking the question.

Closing out our week heavy in major sci-fi game releases and news, Bethesda have released a concept art trailer for their upcoming and highly anticipated space roleplaying game, Starfield.
With it they also announced an art giveaway for which you need to register as a member of their Constellation Group.

505 Games have released a trailer for Red Solsice 2: Survivors' latest DLC titled Condatis Group.
It's not a game we're familiar with and in a week laden with Super Bowl trailers and major sci-fi game releases this one almost didn't make the cut for us.

HBO's Peacemaker has been renewed for a second season and finished it's first on a true high with viewership up 44% from the premiere. It was also the best single day performance for any HBO Max original.
For anyone unfamiliar with typical viewer patterns, the norm is for significant drop off over the first few episodes - people checking out a new show and deciding it's not for them - then slow decline.
