That's the word from a site called Puck News which claims to have the inside scoop on why shooting for the Patty Jenkins Star Wars: Rogue Squadron film had been delayed indefinitely as reported last week.

Puck is paywalled but you can read a piece based on it by IGN.

The original article doesn't have a huge amount to say about the Patty Jenkins delay. As its title suggests it is an essay on why Kathleen Kennedy needs to be replaced.

Curiously ping-ponging between hailing her triumphs and listing her failures.

On the topic of Patty they only say that she and Lucasfilm execs couldn't agree on the script.

That's not unbelievable. Other directors have reported script disputes.

The Wonder Woman 2 script which Patty co-wrote wasn't great but better than some of the recent Star Wars films.

Any director would be better off ousted than delivering another bad Star Wars film.
