UPDATE: Amazon released an actual trailer just a couple of days after. We hate when they get cute like this.

A video teaser has been released for the second season of apocalyptic series Good Omens, in the form of the opening title sequence for episode one, called The Arrival.

Amazon has been driving fans crazy releasing teaser images on twitter and co-creator Neil Gaimann described the new video as having “…more Easter eggs than in a fancy Easter egg shop the week before Easter”.

The first season was an adaptation of the novel by Gaimann and Terry Pratchett, while the second season will incorporate parts of an unfinished sequel. Fans have been poring over details in the teaser for clues on what to expect.

David Tennant’s demon Crowley and Michael Sheen’s angel Aziraphale are back, joined by returning and new characters. One of the demonic nuns now runs a record store and the other a coffee shop called “Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death” – both just around the corner from Aziraphale’s bookshop. Jon Hamm also returns as a naked and possibly amnesiac archangel Gabriel.

New characters include new angel Muriel wearing a distinctive white police costume, who has been sent to spy on Crowley and Aziraphale.

Good Omens season 2 goes live on Amazon Prime July 28.
