In a Vanity Fair interview, Chris Hemsworth has expressed a desire to slow down on the work front so that he can see his own children growing up.

He's not giving up acting and said that there could be more Thor in his future.

Though he'd prefer not to be doing intensive titles like that back to back as he has in the past.

How does this relate to his health?

During his National Geographic’s Limitless documentary series on extending longevity he was diagnosed with a genetic predisposition to developing Alzheimer's disease.

Not a concrete diagnosis.

He's just at increased risk compared to the general population.

Which encouraged him to rethink his life, plans, career etc. and one thing he's certain of is wanting to spend more time with his kids.

Understandable.

Vanity Fair also point out that he's the only original Avenger who got 4 solo films.

Possibly due some time off.

All of his Marvel films and also the documentary series Limitless are streaming now on Disney+.
