A full trailer has been released for upcoming live action series Avatar: The Last Airbender, starring Gordon Cormier in the title role.

It provides a first look at the live action versions of supporting characters including Jet, June and King Bumi and offers a glimpse of various combat scenes featuring Aang using his power over each of the elements. All of which look spectacular.

We also get to see more of Aang’s friends Sokka and Katara as well as bad-guy Crown Prince Zuko (played by Dallas Liu) who is hunting Aang.

The series is an adaptation of the 2005 Nickelodeon animated series of the same name that ran for three season, followed by animated spinoff The Legend of Korra in 2012.

Avatar: The Last Airbender will be available on Netflix from February 22.
