Loki fans finally got a look at season 2 of the Marvel series with a trailer released this week.

Everything Everywhere all At Once star Ke Huy Quan has joined the cast, enlisted to help stabilise Loki’s travel between multiverses as he keeps timeslipping uncontrollably.

Loki is supposed to be working with the Time Variance Authority to find Sylvie, Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes somewhere in the multiverse. This season picks up plot elements from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – in particular the involvement of Kang the Conquerer and his variants - as well as from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Core cast members Tom Hiddlestone and Owen Wilson are back although season one director Kate Herron has stepped down, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead sharing most of the new season between them. Both are familiar with Marvel from their previous work directing Moon Knight.

Season 2 of Loki premieres on Disney Plus October 6.
