Minecraft on the Moon
Tuesday, February 27, 2024 - 17:01
The Japanese space agency JAXA has launched a lunar-based Minecraft world based on detailed scans of the Moon’s geography taken by their Kaguya orbiter.
Lunarcraft is set in Theophilus crater and is not only geographically realistic but offers a range of missions starting with building and expanding a base before moving on to establishing agriculture and developing mining operations.
Altertaively, you can just race around the lunar surface on a moon rover unique to Lunarcraft.
Lunarcraft is available via JAXA’s official download site.
