A new multiverse storyline for MMORPG Star Trek Online has been released.
Unraveled is set after the events of the mirror universe story arc Terran Gambit and follows a humanitarian mission to stabilise the Na’kuhl sun. The mission uncovers a transdimensional reality vortex which is disrupting space-time throughout the multiverse.
The Tholians are pulled into conflict with the mission as they believe the constant use of time and dimensional travel causes these vortices, and this one is at least partly the player Captain’s fault.
Star Trek Online is a free-to-play MMO game that allows players to explore the Star Trek universe from multiple perspectives, including as a Starfleet captain, a Klingon warrior or a Romulan commander, referred to generically as Captains.
Players can explore iconic locations from the Star Trek universe, make contact with new alien species and battle alongside other players in customizable starships.
Star Trek Online is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Arc, Epic and Steam).
