San Diego Comic Con

This year's returning after a two year COVID break San Diego Comic-Con have published their schedule for the July 20-24 event.

It's huge. So huge we're not even going to try to summarise it.

With very few exceptions, every active sci-fi entertainment property is going to be there.

Even some which are still in limbo.

J. Michael Straczynski will give:

an exclusive briefing on the status of the Babylon 5 revival for the CW network.

In February he told fans via Patreon that the proposed reboot hadn't been picked up for a pilot order but also not cancelled.

That's normally a binary decision. Pilot order or bin.

Instead Babylon 5 will compete again next year for a pilot order.

This was confirmed in May by the CW's chairman.

That being the case we wouldn't expect Straczynski to have any news to share, but we will watch the briefing and report back if there is anything of note.
