A trailer has been released for season two of UK time-bending thriller The Lazarus Project.

The series is premised around a secret government agency whose agents have the ability to turn back time and intervene in apocalyptic events to prevent the end of the world.

Season one followed the Project’s latest recruit George, played by Paapa Essiedu. When his girlfriend is killed, George decides to break protocol and manipulate time to save her.

Things don’t go according to plan and by the end of the season the world is locked in an infinite loop, replaying the same three weeks over and over.

Season two picks up with the Project’s efforts to deal with the time loop, which appears to be disintegrating time itself. It’s also discovered that a shadowy group of scientists have invented an actual time machine, which may be the key to ending the time loop, saving the world and bringing back George’s girlfriend. But only if he can find it.

Season two of The Lazarus Project premieres in the UK on Sky November 15, available the same day in Australia on Stan, where season one is available to stream now.
