A trailer has been released for sci-fi satire They Cloned Tyrone.

The film follows a hustler, a pimp and a professional woman who stumble on a secret government lab undertaking strange experiments, including cloning one of the trio.

Played by John Boyega, Jamie Foxx and Teyonah Parris respectively, the unlikely sleuths eventually rally the entire neighbourhood against the cloning conspiracy.

Described as a “pulpy mystery caper” and with a distinctive 70’s look, the film marks director Juel Taylor’s feature film debut.

They Cloned Tyrone premieres on Netflix July 21.
