Coming up later this month is Paradise, a movie set in the near future where it has become possible to transfer of years of your life to another person.

The discovery of this technique has made biotech startup AEON a huge financial success, but as is so often the case what sounds like a huge benefit to humanity ends up benefiting only the super rich. Instead of healing the sick, aging billionaires are able to recapture their youth in exchange for cash.

The movie follows young couple Max and Elena who are forced to sell decades of Elena’s life to AEON in order to pay an insurance claim. It turns out Max works for AEON and sets about trying to reclaim his partner’s liftetime.

Paradise premieres on Netflix July 27.
