Sydney Oz Comic-Con

This year's Oz Comic-Con titled "Homegrown" is set to kick off in Sydney on December 4 and 5 at the Sydney Showground, Olympic Park.

Sydney Sci-Fi Film Festival

While we saw and shared info about the then upcoming and now live (November 3 - 21) the Sydney Film Festival (SFF), we were unaware that there's also a separate, younger (now in its second year)  Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival (SSFFF).

Sydney Film Festival

Lifehacker teasingly reports that this year's Sydney Film Festival includes a nice bonus for Sydney folk - an early screening of Dune on November 10 almost a month ahead of the rest of the country.

Then details that single adults tickets have already sold out. Nice for those who managed to nab them.

Concession, youth and group tickets are still available.

And there other films at the festival.
