Frontiers of Pandora

Ubisoft have narrowed their intended launch window for Avatar open world action computer game, Frontiers of Pandora to the final quarter of this year.

With the film releasing in cinemas in December, their goal may to be launch prior to that to capitalise on it and also Christmas gift sales.

Strange Avatar Trailer

Hollywood newsletter, The Ankler claim that the first trailer for the extremely long awaited Avatar sequel will screen with Marvel's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in May.

That there will be such a trailer is certain. It premiering in cinemas would not be unusual. Being paired with a big release like Doctor Strange would make sense.

As part of their Directors on Directors series, Variety have published a virtual rountable between two of sci-fi's heaviest hitters, James Cameron and Denis Villeneuve.

There's a half hour video and also a transcript.

Entertainment Weekly have interviewed James Cameron about Avatar 2 and what went into making it.

There aren't any story reveals but he details some of the challenges that underwater filming posed and how he and the cast rose, or rather, descended to meet them.

James Cameron has given an exclusive interview to Total Film about Avatar 2.

That's a subscription magazine but Games Radar have reported some of the more salient points.
