Because of competition for limited visual effects post-production capabilities in the post COVID revival, Warner Bros. have delayed several big DC titles.

Note that the dates below are for the US. New Australian release dates haven't been published yet but they're usually not far off US ones.

Delays:

• DC League of Super-Pets changed from May 20 to July 29.
• Black Adam changed from July 29 to October 21.
• The Flash changed from November 4 to June 23, 2023.
• Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom changed from December 16 to March 17, 2023.
• Wonka changed from March 17, 2023 to December 15, 2023.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods has jumped forward from June 2, 2023, to December 16, 2022 which interestingly pits it instead of Aquaman against Avatar 2 which releases the same day.

Meg 2: The Trench has also been given an August 4, 2023 premiere date.
